Homecoming 2022!

The SXU Alumni Association welcomes you to Homecoming Week as we celebrate the cultures and traditions of our alumni and students.

Diaper Redistribution | Butler Reception Room- 11am-4pm

Celebrating Service! As stated in our core values, service calls us to use our gifts, talents and abilities to advance the genuine well-being of our community and those we encounter.

The Bridge, an SXU philanthropic service organization of students and alumni, is teaming up with SWADDLE (Southwest Area Diaper Depository for Little Ends) for National Diaper Need Awareness Week – 9/24-10/2. One in three U.S. families struggles to provide enough diapers to keep a baby or toddler clean, dry and healthy.

We are appealing to the generosity of the SXU Community for donations. Each donation will be separated by size and repackaged into ten packs for distribution at local community centers. Sizes 4-7 are in greatest need. We cannot accept size 1.

Diapers can be dropped off at the reception desk inside the main entrance of the Warde Academic Center. Alternatively, you can visit Amazon or any online store and have them sent to SXU – Alumni Relations, 3700 West 103rd Street, Chicago, IL 60655

Saturday, October 1

Cougar’s Corner Tailgate Tent- 11am- 3pm

Wear your SXU gear and head to Bruce R. Deaton Memorial Field. Enjoy football, food, and drinks as SXU faces Roosevelt University.  

Early bird online registrants (alumni only) will receive a free commemorative Homecoming 2022 t-shirt at the tent. 

$15 admission includes a game ticket and tent entry (6 and under are free).

Tent attendees must be 21+ unless accompanied by an adult.
